Animal studies

GTIMD is working with animal labs accredited by the Association for the Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care, International (AAALACi), and is committed to complying with all applicable regulations governing the care and use of laboratory animals.

All procedures and conditions of pre-clinical testing are in compliance with the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) and Animal Welfare Act (9 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Parts 1, 2 and 3). The Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals is followed.

Preliminary studies are intended for research and design validation purposes. Some studies are designed to determine the safety and effectiveness of any Materials or Test Articles.
All studies are in compliance with the Good Laboratory Practices, as described in 21 CFR, Part 58
